These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Savarin ("Savarin", "we", "us") covering savarin.ai and everything on it. By using Savarin you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Savarin is an informational tool. It uses AI, public sources and third-party data to suggest restaurants, recipes, cooking guidance and products. It is a starting point for your own decisions — not professional advice of any kind.
Restaurant hours, prices, wait times, availability, links, photos, ratings and recipe details come from third parties and AI generation and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Always confirm directly with the restaurant or source before you travel, book, buy or cook. We are not responsible for any third-party business, its food, service, safety, pricing, or availability.
Savarin's answers are generated by artificial intelligence. AI can be confidently wrong: it can invent details, misstate quantities or temperatures, cite a source incorrectly, or recommend a business that has changed hands or closed. Treat every answer as a suggestion to check, not a statement of fact. Reservation links, opening hours and availability are especially prone to change — confirm with the restaurant before you go.
Nutrition figures, macros, calorie estimates, ingredient lists and dietary labels (including allergen, gluten-free, seed-oil-free, vegan and similar descriptions) are estimates and can be wrong. Savarin does not provide medical, nutritional, allergy or dietary advice. If you have allergies, intolerances or a medical condition, verify with the restaurant, product label or a qualified professional before eating or cooking anything. You cook and eat at your own risk, and you are responsible for safe food handling.
Savarin may remember dietary preferences you mention (for example "I'm vegan" or "no peanuts") and try to honour them. This is a convenience feature only. Never rely on Savarin to keep an allergen out of your food. It can miss hidden ingredients, cross-contamination, changed recipes and undeclared allergens. If an allergy is severe, always confirm with the restaurant, the kitchen or the product label.
Savarin is a general-audience tool and is not designed for anyone whose diet is medically managed. Any question touching health, weight, pregnancy, medication or a diagnosed condition should be taken to a doctor or registered dietitian before you act on what Savarin says. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for allergic reactions, illness, injury or any adverse health outcome arising from information provided by the service.

We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe these Terms have been broken or to protect the service.
Savarin, its name, logo, design, code and compiled content are ours and are protected by applicable law. You get a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Third-party names, restaurants, chefs and brands are the property of their owners and their appearance is not an endorsement or partnership.
You keep ownership of anything you submit (questions, photos, feedback). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process and display it as needed to operate and improve the service. You confirm you have the rights to whatever you upload.
Savarin links to external websites, reservation platforms, social media, videos and retailers. We do not control them, do not endorse them, and are not liable for their content, availability, pricing, bookings, transactions or conduct. Any dealings you have with them are solely between you and them.
The service is provided on an as-is basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAVARIN IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAVARIN AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, ILLNESS, INJURY, WASTED TRAVEL, MISSED RESERVATIONS OR MONEY SPENT, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) US$50.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Savarin and its owners from any claims, damages, liabilities and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. You and Savarin agree that any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to that jurisdiction. Claims must be brought individually, not as part of a class or representative action, and within one year of the event giving rise to the claim.
We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date shows the current version, and continuing to use Savarin after an update means you accept it.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us.
