  1. Cook the rice according to package directions and set aside.
  2. Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, and water in a small bowl.
  3. Heat half the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
  4. Add the chicken slices and cook for 3–4 minutes until browned and cooked through, then remove from the pan.⏱ 4 min
  5. Add the remaining oil and the broccoli florets to the pan with a splash of water, covering with a lid for 2 minutes to steam.⏱ 2 min
  6. Remove the lid, add the chicken back into the pan, and pour the sauce mixture over everything.
